On 7-8 June, Hokkaido University, in conjunction with Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), is organizing a workshop named "Workshop on Understanding and Integrating Sustainability into Teaching Module" with the cooperation of United Nations University ? Institute of Advanced Studies and Hokkaido University of Education Kushiro Campus. ・To provide basic and fundamental understanding of sustainable development and sustainability. ・To share various teaching resources for integrating sustainable development in formal and non formal education of higher education. [Venue] B1 Conference Room, Centennial Hall, Hokkaido University Sapporo Campus [Language] English [Summary] The workshop is meant for those with and without prior knowledge on Sustainable Development. It aims at exposing participants to a module of integrating sustainable development and sustainability principles into teaching process. We will share various approaches and debates on sustainable development necessary for those who are interested in integrating the issue in their teachings. We will also propose approaches and methodologies to integrate SD issues in their classes. The module is based on ProSPER.Net project on "Development of Generic Module for Faculty Training".
