On April 9, an entrance ceremony for the Intensive Japanese Language Course was held at the International Student Center. A total of 13 students from 11 countries and regions were admitted to the course, including 4 who will enroll in the Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine after completion. During the ceremony, President Saeki delivered a congratulatory speech, followed by brief self-introductions from each student. After the event, the international students joined a campus-wide orientation session hosted by the International Student Center at the Clark Memorial Student Center. Representatives from the police and Sapporo International Communication Plaza also attended.
