D : RNB1-101(PET/CT/MRI room), RNB1-201(RI irradiation room), RNB1-203(High-level laboratory), RNB1-204(HOT lab), RN2-103(biochemistry laboratory)
E : RN2-101(animal rearing room), RN2-102(animal treatment room), RN2-201(biology laboratory), RN2-203(measurement room), RN3-101(radio-gas chromatography room), RN3-102(training room), RN3-201, RN3-202(IMS room), RN3-203(Ge semiconductor detector room)

The maximum quantities per day, per three months, and per year of nuclides used in class A and B rooms include those used in class B and C rooms. The maximum quantities per day, per three months, and per year of nuclides used in class D rooms include those in class E rooms. The quantities of nuclides used throughout the Institute should be less than the maximum quantities of the nuclides in class A and D rooms.



(3)Administration of RIs to experimental animals and handling of gaseous
   RI compounds

1:Administration of RIs to experimental animals are allowed in class A, D rooms and RN2-101, RN2-102.   Handling of gaseous RI compounds are allowed only in class A and D rooms.
2:60Co, 90Sr, 106Ru, 152Eu and 226Ra should not be administered to animals.

The upper limits of total quantities of nuclides, other than those listed above, allowed to be administered to experimental animals and gaseous RI compounds are as follows.

(1)3H,14C, 32P, 33P, 35S, 45Ca, 123I, 124I, 125I, 131I:
   1% of the maximum quantity per day, 1% of the maximum quantity per three months,
   1% of the maximum quantity per year.

(2) Other nuclides: 10% of the maximum quantity per day, 10% of the maximum quantity per three
   months, 10% of the maximum quantity per year.
